Our story

Questions about SUMO kitchen sinks

Delivery & warranty
What is the difference between nano, embossed and honeycomb?

Only the texture. Nano is smooth and even, embossed has a raised pattern pressed into the steel, and honeycomb has a hexagonal texture across the bowl. Every SUMO kitchen sink is nano-coated, scratch-resistant and oil-proof whichever surface you pick.

What comes with every SUMO kitchen sink?

A nano coating over SUS304 stainless steel, a scratch-resistant and oil-proof surface, an anti-condensation layer, sound padding fitted under the bowl, and reinforced 3.0 mm + 1.0 mm thickness.

What sizes do SUMO sinks come in?

Two: 600 x 450 mm and 680 x 450 mm. Both are 220 mm deep.

Which SUMO kitchen sink size should I choose?

Start by measuring the inside width of your sink cabinet and ask your countertop installer to confirm the cut-out. SUMO kitchen sinks come in 600 x 450 mm and 680 x 450 mm, both 220 mm deep. If both fit, choose according to your available counter space and the cookware you wash most often.

What is SUS304 stainless steel?

SUS304 is a widely used stainless steel grade chosen for its durability and resistance to corrosion in everyday kitchen use. Every SUMO kitchen sink is made from SUS304 stainless steel, then nano-coated and fitted with sound padding and an anti-condensation layer.

Can a SUMO sink be fitted top-mount or undermount?

Either. Every SUMO kitchen sink can sit on top of the counter (top-mount) or be fixed beneath it (undermount).

Should I choose stainless steel or gun metal?

Choose on looks alone. Every surface and size comes in both colours at the same price. Stainless Steel is the lighter, brighter option; Gun Metal is a deep grey.

How much does a SUMO kitchen sink cost?

S$600 to S$780. The 600 mm Nano sink is S$600, and the 680 mm Embossed and Honeycomb sinks are S$780.

Is there a tap to match?

Yes. The SUMO KT-01 Kitchen Tap is S$250, measures 437 x 218 mm and comes in four finishes: Black, Gold, Brush Nickel and Gun Metal.

Is a SUMO sink covered if it has a defect?

Yes. Check your sink when it arrives, before it's installed. If you find a defect, don't install it. Message SUMO and we'll replace the sink. The check comes first because a fault that appears after installation is physical damage.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are processed in 2 to 4 business days, then standard delivery in Singapore takes 2 to 5 business days. Tell us about any delivery issue within 48 hours of receiving your sink.

Can someone help me choose?

Yes. Send a photo of your counter or your cabinet size on WhatsApp at +65 8988 1339, or use the contact form, and SUMO will help you pick the surface, size and colour.
